Do you need proof of your swimming ability for a camp, boating program, or other activity? The YMCA offers swim tests for individuals who require certification from a certified lifeguard.

Swim tests are available by appointment for a $25 fee and are designed to verify your ability to swim a required distance safely. A YMCA lifeguard will observe and sign any necessary documentation.

Please note: Swim tests are only for non-YMCA programs. You do not need to purchase a swim test to enroll in YMCA swim lessons.
